I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Piper Stone is a master of dark Mafia romance. I started listening to her books a few months ago and I quickly became a fan. This book takes place in the violent world of the Mafia. It is filled with betrayal, paybacks, mafia justice, secrets, and a plot that Uis filled with so many twists and turns. Miguel is a very dominant man uwho will soon take over control of this mafia. Valencia is a sassy young woman who thinks she has her life under control. However, when Miguel takes her when her father doesn't hold up his end of a business deal, she soon learns that Miguel controls her life. This story will blow your mind with all of the unexpected twists it will take. So many things won't be what the main characters are lead to believe they are. This is a story that you will not know what truly to believe until the end and that makes this story so exciting. I oust add that there are some extremely hot sex scenes.

Jack Calihan is a master storyteller who will immediately draw you into this story. You will even forget that you aren't listening to a duet narration. He captures the emotions and personalities of these characters. Believe me, their emotions will be on a wild rollercoaster that will have you holding on for dear life. I highly recommend this Audible book, no ands ifs or buts about it.

I love dark mafia romances!!! And Piper Stone is a master at it! The story was great! The characters were very well done! And even though all 4 books intertwine, they are all stand alone! And Jack! OMG! Jack does all the voices great! He does a very sexy alpha dominate mafia man to a tee!

Again, another really good story, well thought out. There could have been a tiny bit better editing, in details. An example is when one of the shipments blew up, in one setting it was $2m in product, & in another reference it was $1m (referring to the same explosion). Anyway,it was still a good story & I was actually surprised by the last couple of twists at the end. A decent addition to this series. I am moving on to the final book. I purchased the audio version and as with all the others in their series it was done well, especially given the dual POV was via a single narrator.

This story started out SO very dark I had to push myself to finish but I'm sure glad I did! So many plot twists and sneaky buzzards but very steamy and a climax you won't see coming! As always, the delicious Jack Calihan bringing it, who can pass that up?!

Miguel is sure rough on panties!

This is a dark romance so keep that in mind. If you are into these stories you should like it. If you are not into BDSM then i might skip it.
