The widowed Duchess of Sailer has desires that are hard to fill in polite society. To that effect, she visits a brothel to have her bottom reddened. If word got out, her reputation would be ruined. So, when a member of society is murdered, and her name turns up in the books he is using to blackmail people, the metropolitan police show up on her doorstep. I enjoy historical romances from time to time, and thought this book was very well performed. I liked parts of this story and other parts not so much. Typically I do not associate spanking and regency romance. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I thought the author did great with her imagery and details, along with character development.

This is a wonderful tale and I didn’t want it to end! Exciting adventure of two people that was made for each other! The narrator did a super job! I have reviewed a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my this was a lot of fun. This is the first time I've read/listened to Lexie Clark it won't be the last. I can't wait for the next part.
The narrator brings it to life, she has a wonderful voice.
This is a definite keeper.
