Another great installment in The Escort series. I really loved Nathaniel and, again, I'm so sad he may not be end game. I'm currently hoping this ends up as a why choose series because I love when the other MMCs hate each other and make it work for the FMC.

Kai didn't win himself any favors this book to be honest... He acted like a big jealous baby and he should have talked to River about the truth with him and Freya. PS, not a fan of that one... The cliffhanger had me wanting to scream. I may not be able to wait for the audio for book three lol

This was another great listen. Kallestra Spencer and Ryan Lee Dunlap did a wonderful job with these characters and I loved the audiobook.

okay this book is getting very interested, but who is the guy stocking her. oh and that ending was crazy really wanted her and the Dr to work. can't wait for the next book.

In this one Rose is attacked by her stalker. She happens to run into Nathaniel and he cleans her up. She discovers he has a kinky side and oh boy is he hot. There is one part that was a bit emotional when Nathaniel was tell a story about a patient who came into the ER. Kai is annoying he announces his engagement but supposedly it's not what it seem but won't say anything yet about that and the fiancé is clingy and annoying and from what is revealed about all their past she's a jealous backstaber. I have a theory of who the stalker is but I will have to wait to read/listen to the rest of this to find out.

Full disclosure- I originally walked away from this audio because of the title- but then I ended up being gifted Book 4 and becoming totally engrossed in the complicated trials and tribulations of River, and I had to come back and listen to this one to get more background I so desperately needed. There was a very interesting side story (part of the kinky I suppose, but there are more moments that qualify) along with the in and outs of River's crazy life. Danger is stalking River and the mystery of who this culprit is one I needed solved because in my head there are already lots of possibilities floating around. There are heartbreaking moments as well. Narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life.

Firstly, the narration is prime, chef's kiss, love it, listen to it, it's amazing.

Secondly, this story and these characters are really compelling. I love that we're seeing a woman in a role that is often looked down on, but she owns her sexuality, stresses safety in kink and and is totally unashamed of what she does. I like getting a glimpse of that side of the industry. And the men, they're something else, aren't they? Damaged, wounded, secretive, possessive, protective... all those things we love in our beautiful and flawed book boyfriends. This does end on a cliff hanger, but don't let that frighten you, because the next book is already out and you can just keep right on going.
