Diana Kelley is a couple's sex therapist with a problem: It’s her job to convince her clients of the importance of sexual and emotional intimacy, but after surviving a toxic relationship with an abusive ex, she's sworn off love and can’t fathom ever making herself vulnerable again. When her best friend, Ava, is injured the night she is scheduled to assist with a hands-on sexual education workshop, Diana is forced to find a short-term replacement. The last thing she wants is a new lover, even a paid one.

After a year of living in the apartment next door, all Jude Monaco knows about her neighbor Diana is that she’s a gorgeous older woman and the inspiration for more dirty fantasies than she cares to admit. So when Diana knocks on her door with a shockingly delicious favor to ask, Jude seizes the opportunity to learn more.

Their professional relationship is supposed to be a clinical erotic arrangement between a sex therapist and her assistant, but at the intersection of sex and intimacy, anything is possible. Even love.

This book is about so much more than sex, though there is a lot of it, so beware! However, the sex isn’t gratuitous; it isn’t a vehicle for titillation. No doubt the sex scenes are hot. They do, however, serve a purpose, and that purpose is to show the vulnerability of each of the characters and their ability to trust. It’s utilized to reveal character growth and develop the plot. It underlines the trust needed in a sexual relationship for it to be successful, productive, safe and satisfactory. It also takes a view that “kinky” can play a part in love and romance, and that your biggest sex organ is found in your head. The audio version of this story capitalizes on the smoky voice of Brittni Powers; the timbers of her lovely voice help set the stage. She does an excellent job narrating a book this genre.

One of the best in this genre!

The story was hot but the narration lacked range in characters and made it difficult to listen to!

This book is incredibly hot!! This is definitely not a book to listen to at work. There are many sexually explicit scenes throughout the book. I loved the story as well as the ending. I enjoyed this book so much that I've gotten more of her books already. The narrator, Brittni Powers, did a great job telling the story. She definitely helps to make this a "Do not listen to at work" book.

This book is so hot it sizzles!!

Normally I listen to books while at work without an issue but the sexiness and the banter had me lost in my thoughts and I had a huge smile plastered on my face so I had to stick to listening during lunch time and right before bed 😉

I loved the approach of a Sex Therapist doing live demos, don't think that would ever really be done. The author takes the listener through the how to's, and emotional angst of sexual expressions. Loved the dynamic of the substitute assistant and the the Teacher, Jude and Diana. The push and pull between the two MC was really good and realistic in terms of how people might actually work through their issues. This is my 2nd time listening to this book I notice there isn't much difference in the voices of the characters. They all pretty much sound a like. The content of the book however was great. If the author ever does a re-do of the audio, I would love to hear it done by Alexandria Wilde as she has narrator other books by this author as well.

Loved the Approach
