I absolutely loved this story. The banter and chemistry between Serena and Dimitri were top tier. The reason for me giving the audio a 4 is this...When I do audio books, I like to immersive read. There were so many parts that I found where sentences were skipped, or not said at all, the wrong sentence was said, and extra words were added in. It threw me off.

It was interesting. I’m normally a huge fan of dark romance but something about this story didn’t quite grab me fully and I think it was a me thing. I kinda saw the plot twist coming so it wasn’t a huge surprise me.

I didn’t love the females male voice. I think that’s what turned me away from it over all. I just couldn’t get past that.

I think this story is perfect for smut loving dark romance readers.

I was given this audiobook as an arc. My opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed the story even though I guessed all of the plot twists except one and it was so sad. The male narrator was amazing and enjoyed the Irish accent. The female narrator was good except when she had to do the MMC’s parts. It was so bad and there was no Irish accent for the most part. It kind of took me out of the story because it just was not good. But overall I enjoyed the story. It is very dark so please check your trigger warnings.
