The reader goes into a high fake/falsetto voice when reading a feminine perspective which feels really offensive, demeaning to me as a female. I am probably halfway through but may not finish the audio version of the book because it bothers me so much.

The book itself I really appreciate, for depathologizing erotic fantasies and giving a set a of and trajectory for how to work with them; encouraging a way to use fantasies for healing - not use fantasies for coping but rather to use them for self-understanding, so one can operate more effectively and intelligently in the world. I like the definition of healing as becoming more of yourself, rather than fixing yourself.

Book is awesome, issues with the reader’s vocal choices

I love the book, but when narrator reads women's dialogue he changes his voice and it's unbearable.

very well written and helpful. I'm already using the many tools described here with my partner for deeper healing and exploration. in the one month since i started listening to this book, with self reflection and journaling, I was able to uncover and articulate my behaviour patterns that were preventing me from having deeper more fulfilling relationships.

I've been recommending this book to all my friends!
