This one jumped up and grabbed me!

This is another sports MM romance that is funny, spicy, and heartfelt. It focuses more on everyday life than on mystery or typical third-act breakups. I really enjoyed listening to this, possibly because of the characters themselves. I didn't want it to end and wish there were more books in this series available on Audible, or from the same author. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the crew get their own stories. This isn’t just another run-of-the-mill romance; it has genuine heart and was definitely worth the credit. Plus it had a good amount of spice and the spice was well written.

Surprised

I’m pleasantly surprised with how much I loved this book. My sweet sweet boys 😭🫶 it was a perfect balance of tension, sweetness and love. The spice was an added bonus 🔥

Utter perfection 😩❤️

Everything about this book was perfection. The writing, the banter, the heat, the narration everything. I didn’t expect This to be one of the best books I’ve ever listened to but it 100% is.

Dark football rivals to lovers

This was so good! It had everything I could want from a story, there was angst, and rivalry and banter and so much sexy and steamy times. It was seriously hot AF! Zander is a quarterback for his college team and right before his game against his rivals, Meridian, his girlfriend breaks up with him and admits she’s been cheating with a teammate. Understandably he has a little trouble focusing in that game, and after the game, to show his ex up (a cheerleader making out with the teammate on the sideline), he grabs his rival by the jersey as they shake hands and lays a kiss on him. It rocks his world. He never expected to like a guy, especially his rival, Kerian. Zander is a chill guy, not aggressive, lets things roll off his back and is just sunshine. Kerian, quarterback for Meridian had a rivalry going with Zander. He also doesn’t get close to anyone, he wears a mask cause his parents aren’t great and he’s learned enough lessons about being vulnerable. But when his rival, Zander kisses him after a game, he wants him, and he always takes what he wants. Some light stalking leads him to Zander. These two are just everything. Watching their relationship unfold is beautiful and mesmerizing. I loved this book from beginning to end. I loved these two guys so much. It was well written, the characters were amazing and I really can’t wait to see what comes next in this world. It had an amazing side character cast, from both their roommates to Zander’s best friend and his brother, to new friends made. This world is amazing. Mind the trigger warnings, this story isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, there’s definitely some dark clouds to go with that sunshine. But seriously, one of my favorites by these authors for sure. The narrators were amazing!!!

Great Story, Poor football knowledge.

The story was great the more dominant lead was funny in his protective nature but also a little toxic but not in a dangerous way. They got together a little too easy for me honestly there was no buildup or chase it was like you blinked and they went straight to bathroom hookup. There was no build other than a random kiss that was more for a stupid petty act of spite rather than having to do with pursuing one. But what really made me laugh were the flaws in the football side of the story. If you’re going to do a sports book at least research it a little bit. First off teams wouldn’t play each other twice in college football unless it’s playoffs and since that wasn’t mentioned I don’t think it was. Second if they were the 1 & 2 projected picks I doubt their relationship wouldn’t have been huge sports news there was no mention of that. And it was odd that they were such well known QBs but everyone outside a couple friends seemed shocked to realize they were dating just didn’t seem like something that wouldn’t have been top news for ESPN. And last but not least it was very odd that their rookie season was two years after graduation and the draft is only 7 rounds so saying his kicker teammate was drafted in the 10th was just comical to me. But yea other than that the story was great can’t wait for the second book I can’t wait to see who Luca’s date for the wedding was.
