When the lease for my new condo falls through, I'm left scrambling until superstar goalie Grant Parker offers me and my nine-year-old daughter a place to stay.

Grant is known for being rigid, stoic, and completely untouchable on the ice. I'm not sure he knows what he's getting into, inviting a chaotic third-grader into his perfectly ordered mansion.

I have absolutely loved this series and have been waiting for this one for a few books! I loved watching the growth and development in both players.

When Grant learned to sew- swoon.

The banter? Loved it.

Overall amazing read and love this author’s series.

This series has been awesome. I’m always looking for 🌶️ and there is plenty of it all in these books! I’m only disappointed that there aren’t anymore! Highly recommend!

not great.

listen I have loved this series. have there been moments in all the Aces books where things are unrealistic? absolutely. but as a child of a single mother who survived domestic violence this was so unrealistic and a missed opportunity.

1. the move in close proximity very unlikely and rushed it when it didnt need to be
2. what the hell? grants interactions with april...like none.
3. by mid book I was able to predict okay here comes Stephen...okay here comes surprised pregnancy...
4. I wanted april and grant to connect emotionally deeper tgan a few suana moment like jeez can he take her out?


this book was rushed and its sad. huge missed opportunity and so unrealistic.
