Too much inner dialog

This was a good series. i love the author and all of the narrators. I could have lived without so much inner dialog though. And their communication was terrible. Still a good series though.

Myths rewritten

Beautifully perfect way to rewrite myths! Lexi does it again! She built a wonderful universe rewriting old myths that subjugated women by empowering them instead! The cast is as always perfect! Bravo!!

What an incredible experience, off to repeat it...

TLDR:
This is an epic, complex world with mysteries and ever-shifting dynamics woven in, endless banter, and delicious darkness. And, as someone who predicts every single second of just about everything I read, watch, etc., this is even … twisty.
You absolutely need it.

📍 Full review:

1️⃣ Firstly: have you SEEN the hardback editions of these?! Foil-y covers, COLOR interior, stunning edges, ribbon book marks, custom artwork filled dustjackets, and so much more. So many amazing (human) artists went into this, and the QUALITY. These books are thicccckkkk with heavy-duty paper and jackets.
HIGHLY recommend if you’re a ‘shelf trophy’ or print book collector.

2️⃣ Secondly: if you have not delved into the Faeverse yet, what the actual— are you waiting for?!! It’s so fun and magical and dark in just the right ways and complex … hurry, get on this!

Talk about the FUNNEST, most delicious fact-finding mission everrrr!

Written in alternating, first-person POVs.
Present tense.

OBVIOUSLY, after bing-reading books 1 & 2 in one sitting each, book 3 wasn’t an option, it was a MUST. (As with anything Foss writes.) I absolutely loved

📍 the way power dynamics shifted as Sera evolved and grew and figured out who she was,
📍 and how Hades was repeatedly humbled and forced to change and grow and evolve as well … this has to be the best depiction of Hades, all snarky, self-centered, controlling and egotistical, yet, he learns and grows and changes before the reader’s very eyes, that I’ve ever read. (And I read ALL the Hades/Persephone takes I can get, so this is a very tall order/ high praise.)

Also: it was HILARIOUS, at times.

📍 As well as the way it hit so many fun tropes, etc., such as:

₪ Labyrinths.
🥀A / B / O dynamic.
₪ Mythology.
🥀WORLD-BUILDING—so epic, down to the food.
₪ Mysteries everywhere. And a puzzle of sorts.
🥀M4t3 b!tes and bonds.
₪ N3sting.
🥀Crossover with ‘Monsters Night’ world.
₪ Fated mates.
🥀Crossover with ‘H3ll Fae’ world.
₪ Magic.
🥀 Kn0tting.
₪ Reincarnation.
🥀 Betrayal.

Overall: Do not sleep on this series; every single second of it is utterly indulgent, fun and intriguing. A perfect final book to one of the absolute best trilogies I will ever read.

I do, wholeheartedly, recommend consuming this book (and its books 1&2) in any and all formats you can. Truly.

Out of this world

The 3rd and final book in this trilogy that's full of fantasy, dark, Fae action, drama, adventure and what a journey I went on. You definitely do not want to miss this book.
