What a great book! This has such a unique world and magic system with a mystery, gothic vibe. The worldbuilding was great, very detailed, well thought out, and well written. The FMC and MMC have a great relationship and connection, it was well written and so obvious from the start the feelings and watching the friendship bloom. I cannot wait for the second book, the cliff hanger is ended on should be criminal!

Loved it! Just Mad I Didn’t Realize It Was the First of a Trilogy

Really well written book, and the performer was excellent. The only bad thing was the ending made it clear it was not a stand alone novel. And I hadn’t realized. So now I have to wait to find out what happens! I love a series, but ideally, I like to start them once there’s at least a few books available to binge. So I can’t wait for the sequel!

Unique Magic and Word Building

Bravo! Unique magic and world building. The MMC AND FMC with slow burn and character development that kept you during the pages. But alas, it is another series so I will have to wait to see what happens to the story and the characters.
