in my opinion in very understandably traumatized MC

I understand the level of trauma that the MC went through in book 1 and that does translate to their actions in book 2 but I really wish he wasn't a complete a hole to some people. and I'm still upset at the MC end his best friend from book 1 didn't get to interact in book 2 I look forward to book three if there is no book three I shall riot

Great sequel!

Wow this second book blew my expectations out of the water! Glad to see that our MC was able to get back on his feet for a few weeks and noting major happen to him! But after that the about is trauma he went through and still kept his sanity was amazing. Love the world building in this book, it’s always good to know more of what actually happening behind the scenes. Looking forward to what he will be doing next!

I will absolutely be getting the 3rd book when it comes out. the first book is very good, but this one was even better.

I just love Freddy's determination!!!

The main character just won't give up no matter what life throws at him. Talk about pulling yourself up by the Boot Staps, he came from nothing as a nobody. His mental fortitude is what makes this book so cool for me, unstoppable determination & the will to push forward!

EXCEPTIONAL narrator. Daniel is one of my new favorites! However it seems to be a love it or hate it series for some.

I don't know how to describe it, but I like this series and I can't wait for more of it. The Mc isn't exactly dumb but he's not smart and only barely experienced by the end of the book. A lot of people don't seem to like him but that's only because they probably see their own inexperience in him. So many of the characters feel like real people instead of just characters in a book and the lore and story behind this is so good. But
