Such a unique and beautiful story!

I love the fact that Sayah’s story unfolds slowly from going thru such a rough life to a better one with time. But so heartbreaking that after everything she’s has already endured she still has to go through much more pain to get more answers about who she is. Love that her aunts also give her, her own space to explore and learn more about herself as well as the journey they start to unravel. Then her meeting Dom & starting to live again, is just a small little part that starts piece her back together. Then Sebastian entering her dreams & the the way the rest of the story goes on with both of them! Uhhh the suspense, love, anger, grief, unknown powers & journey of what’s to come!!! Can’t wait to listen to the next book & find out what happens next! 🔥🖤💯❤️

Well this was unexpected…

I had very low expectations for this audio, considering the wishy washy Good Reads reviews and synopsis but dang! This was such a great listen! It’s so refreshing to have a FMC that isn’t a naive 22 year old with no real life experiences. The duet narration really makes the storytelling shift to another level! I can’t wait for the next book!

The book was very enjoyable and kept me in it the whole time. The narrators were amazing and took it up a few more notches

Recommended Urban Fantasy

This story is an intriguing urban romantasy with witches, vampires, an grimspawn (demons?), I enjoyed the character development, the story was exciting, and left me wanting more in the end.
As for the narration, it was excellent! It was a dual POV with dual narrators and I loved it. Both the male and female narrators did a fantastic job with all of the accents and pulling me into the story and world. Would definitely recommend the audiobook to fans of urban fantasy.

Perfect duet narration!

A dark witchy read with vampires and secrets. Sayah is a mom who is struggling with the recent deaths of her family and is on a journey as a single mom and survivor. Sayah’s character is very relatable and there is a love interests in the story as well. Dom, the way Dominic’s eye colors constantly changed reminded me of a mood ring.
I really enjoyed the duet narration done by Jacci Prior and Gabriel Michael. It was really outstanding and I truly enjoyed how they breathes life into the characters.
This is perfect for fans who love vampire diaries.
