Great start to this series

From the very first chapter to the final page, I found this incredibly entertaining. The story moves smoothly, the characters are likable, and there’s just the right amount of drama and excitement to keep you invested. I’d absolutely recommend checking it out!

The book ended on a good cliffhanger

I am unsure if I will continue with the series. Maybe down the road; I will come back and see how it ends. It didn't really draw me in until the end of the book. I will say I was embarrassed for the main character when she and the mafia son shared their history stories. I was freaked out that she "wiped her menstrual blood and her face" to try and lie about it being her time of the month...like why? disturbing..

Predictable storyline, terrible narration

Never a good sign when I speed up the narration just to get to the end. The title says it all. I know it’s a trilogy so I start book 2 and hope it gets better. I hate to DNF books and series.

I absolutely love this book! 5 star read I definitely recommend this book and author. I love the story and love the characters! this books leaves you wanting more!!

Excellent

This was a great story.... and I will be starting book 2 asap. The narration was exceptional. I enjoyed the world building and was easily invested in the characters. Great ! Highly recommend!
