This highly anticipated Dark Romantic Fantasy by author Bree Granado features enemies-to-lovers, touch-her-and-die, found family, fated mates and more in a story that it deliciously addictive and hauntingly beautiful.

As a human raised among fae, Aria has never felt like she truly belongs in the enchanting Court of Flames. Surrounded by the constant barrage of thinly veiled hostility by everyone around her, she’s learned to keep her head down, her lips sealed, and her heart guarded. Even her adoptive father, King Pyrros, who rescued her after her human parents were slaughtered, treats her like an outsider.

But as her twenty-first birthday approaches, the king’s sudden attention to Aria unnerves her more than ever before.

To Harlequin, the charismatic yet ruthless prince of a rival kingdom, The Court of Shadows, Aria would be the perfect pawn to tip the scales of the brewing tension between the courts. He concocts a scheme to kidnap her and leverage her captivity to force Pyrros into submission, giving him no choice but to retreat. But it’s a deadly miscalculation.

The girl he intended to manipulate is not so easily tamed. As the line between captor and captive begins to blur, her presence ignites conflict in his kingdom, threatening his precarious hold on the throne. When Aria uncovers long buried truths about her past, her role in the growing conflict between kingdoms is made painfully clear. Now, she must trust Harlequin –her once-sworn enemy– and work with him to end the war before it destroys the world to which she so desperately wants to belong.

If they can’t bring an end to the war and restore peace across the land, countless lives will be lost, and Aria will have no home, her future will be ruined, and she’ll be left completely alone…forever.

This book had me hooked, line and sinker! The characters, the plot, the way it was told. All of it! I originally read it, but then listening to it was a whole new experience. The development, the tension, the bantering between the characters was so much more with the audio. It left me wanting more and I can't wait to see where this story goes. The narrators, Juniper and William really brought these characters to life. We'll done Bree Granado! You're story has become one of my absolute favorites! 100/10!

I already loved this story, but this audiobook?? It elevated EVERYTHING. I purchased it specifically to support the narrators and I regret nothing.

William Madison and Juniper West absolutely understood the assignment. The tension? TENSIONING. The angst? Angsting. The banter felt natural, the emotional scenes hit me right in the chest, and the intense moments had that edge that makes you just sit there like… excuse me???

The chemistry translated so well in audio. You could feel it. The quieter, vulnerable moments were intimate and raw, and when things escalated? I was stressed in the best way. The “touch her and die” energy absolutely delivered.

This book already gave me the feelings I have been chasing for two years since reading ACOTAR — and hearing it performed like this amplified everything. Dual narration was 100% the right call.

If you love romantasy with tension, twists, and characters you can’t stop thinking about, listen to this. Immediately.

I’m not okay (in the best way)
