I didn't care for the narrator at first but after getting into the story, I found her to be perfect for this book. As in all of Barbara Metzger's books, there is plenty of interesting plot and amusing banter to keep the listener happy for hours!

Great story!

I remember reading the book several years ago & it's still a very entertaining story.

Still a great story

Loved the characters in the book. I've read other books by this author and she's never disappointed me. The narrator was also a great fit.

Death with doses of humor

I love this story. Can never get enough of it. I chose to listen to it for a change. I found that I could not appreciate the narrator.

One of my favourites

the heroine is BLONDE! I SWEAR it's just a sign of shoddiness. Thankfully there are professionals such as Pippa Rathborne and Barbara Metzger that create top notch audiobook magic. This is another witty and wonderful story that's easy and fun to listen to. It's not the best but it's good. I enjoyed the sympathetic depiction of the Bow Street Runner. He was a great guy.

the cover is terrible but the inside is wonderful
