Good concept, but weak plot in later books.

First two books were interesting. The author should have spent more time on plot as the series progressed.

"Is that all you've got?"

Well that phrase is 70% of what the author has, and the reply each and every time? "Hardly!"

This is the longest Reddit Fantasy NSFW post I have ever read. Is it the worst of its kind on Audible? No! And it's better if you get the Omnibus (1 credit for 4 books is ok)

The author really found his stride in books 3 and 4

I had a hard time getting through books one and two I was thinking this character is too dumb for me to read anymore. all of a sudden in book 3 and 4. he started making smarter decisions. and remembered he had magic I was thinking this guy is trying to do everything the hard way. then all the suddenly he started upgrading everything. it could have been cool if he had did it earlier and with more detail but a good ending

Build up good, execution lacking

Books 1-3 are great storylines that build up a sense of deep congratulations that inspire base-building to come. Book 4 fails to complete the grandness promised. Its like the writer got tired or couldn't come up with anything and rushed just to get it over with. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad series. It's just that it fails to deliver on promises and just ends.

Determination....

Welp, where to start with this...i guess a good place to start is in the title of this review. Holy fucking hell is there a LOT of determination in these books, almost every 5 minutes has that word determined to get into my brain.
Here are a few synonyms you could use instead: perseverance, persistence, tenacity, resolve, steadfast, guts, grit, boldness, courageous, will power, etc.

on to the narrators, learn how to pronounce words properly, hareeeem is the biggest one I have heard so far.

With all that said, let's hope I have the determination to listen to the rest.
