The plot was average to decent, but the book really turns on the characters and how much you want them to succeed or not.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book has almost no highs only abject lows. If you don't like depressing books, you may give this a pass but if you use stories to experience emotions, this one captures the essence of loss, confusion, loneliness, need, and regret.

Occasionally repetitive feeling, but viewed in context of the storyline, that actually adds to the atmosphere of the novel and helps the characters more relatable.
