Jack Valentini isn't my type. Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave. I FELL TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY!

I'm madly in love with this book! MH did an awesome job of creating two incredible characters that you instantly identify with in many ways and can stand up and cheer for emphatically. Jack and Margo couldn't be more opposite of what they want in a partner but they were exactly what each other needed. This is a story of second chances at love and life. This book was beyond what I expected.

If I had one criticism it would be the male narrator Rob Howard--he was just ok, but Renee Givens was superb and brought life to the characters. This book sat in my library for several months after I bought it because I knew it would be emotionally charged and I wasn't quite ready. I'm so glad I finally listened! It was emotional, yes, but it was equal parts funny, sexy, and downright one of the best books I've heard this year!

Great female lead character

Any additional comments?

Margot (a/ka GoGo) was an extremely likable female lead. She was smart, funny, kind, rich, and beautiful. She had been on a trail of bad luck with men until she went to the country farm to do some PR work for the owners. One of the country brothers craved her at first sight - and she craved him back, even though he was not her type at all. He fought the attraction and it appears that GoGo is in for another heart break.
The readers are very good. The book is one that I listened to in one sitting.

Jack and Margot

I purchased this audiobook forever ago, and I'm kicking myself now for waiting so long to listen to it. The narrators were great! I really enjoyed this book and really liked Margot and Jack. My heart ached for Jack and all he has been through, so I'm glad he got his hea! This was definitely a 4 or 4.5 star book for me!
