One of my best reads of the year

This was hands down one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. Not only was the story itself perfect, the narrators did such a great job of pulling you into the story and making you feel like you’re there with the characters. This is a must read duet!

Perfection!!!

What in the BEYOND did I just listen to?! If you thought All Your Bloody Lies was a wild ride, buckle up, buttercup.

Xera is in danger, Kairhyse is about to lose his mind, and we are left with about a million questions at the end of book one. After the cliffhanger in AYBL, we jump right back into the action with Kai, Xera, and all of our favorite lovable side characters (plus a few more).

I won't get very in-depth because SO much happens and I'm afraid that I'll spoil something, but just know that this book made me gasp, chuckle, swoon, cry, sweat (that spice!), and want to chuck a few characters off of a cliff. Into lava. ....Repeatedly.

This book is girthy, with the audiobook clocking in at a little over 19 hours, but it definitely kept me engaged for all 19 of them. The plot moves along at a steady clip, with scenes of intense action and emotion sprinkled throughout. Be sure to take the triggers very seriously, there are some dark themes present that are not for the faint of heart.

Onto the narration, because they took this gold nugget of a book and made it GLEAM. Savannah has quickly risen to the top of my favorites list - her portrayal in particular of Xeraphine, Tali, and Sydni is awe-inspiring. It is clear from her performance that she is invested in the material, has worked her butt off behind the scenes, and truly enjoys her job. James has also very quickly become one of my favorite male narrators, and he gives absolutely stellar performances. His level of voice acting is top tier, and it is clear that he, too, truly does his work behind the scenes to bring us his absolute best. These two brought their A+ game to these books, and it shows.

Loved it

This was the most f’d up book I’ve read to date. And I read a lot so that is saying something. But regardless, I loved it.

This book was just as amazing as the first!! Gripping ..... sexy....HOT and so much more!! Had to make myself stop listening for a few hours of sleep. M.L. great writing and performance!!

it was a little longer than B1 but it goes into more detail of how things came about I really can't give too much detail I think you need to read it just remember the stuff and there's not real she is a succubite he is a vampire and he now my ultimate favorite Shadow Daddy I will not say anymore wait till you read it again the narration for this is superb these narrators were fantastic
