Intriguing Story

I love women detective stories and this book did not disappoint. It was both entertaining and intriguing with a twist at the end. Bonnie Hardy chose a time period and setting that hit home for this Texas girl. I couldn’t stop listening to it and had to stay up late to finish the story.
This is the first Bonnie Hardy book I’ve read. I hope she has more about the Harvey House detective.

Really enjoyable, easy listening mystery

The setting is really interesting (and based in fact!), likable characters, solid narration. Hope there are more books to come.

First Harvey House Detective

Great storytelling, superb character development and an interesting time period, taking place in 1929 in New Mexico. Strong women, historical intrigue and a touch of romance.

Better than expected

The character is slightly annoying and had a tendency to drag out the point. Nonetheless, the narration and story were very good.

More, please!

I enjoyed it. Actually it makes a nice change from Lily Rock. Wouldn't mind more episodes of this kind.
