Cozy, Quirky, & Sweet

I liked this book, the characters are fun, but exaggerated to the point that they aren’t at all realistic. The narration is good. The mystery is cozy, light on details but more about the characters and development of the series, than the actual mystery. Overall, the book is fun and I will be listening to the next one.

Annoying characters

Nothing I love better than a cozy but these people made me so annoyed. I kept wishing the dog would talk or something. Michael was creepy and kinda weird, I'm probably not gonna finish and I don't care. The book having "woke" characters was the only thjng that made it even a little interesting.

Story is stale

I got bored. Also the narrator lisps occasionally and it bothered me. I couldn’t tell if it was something she added to the character or if it’s something she personally struggles with.

Fantastic series opener

This is an atmospheric whodunit with a bunch of quirky inclusive characters, including a dog who is the town’s mayor. Surprise ending leading into book two. Great listening for car or home, enjoy!

woke agenda

poorly written. I was unable to finish this title. story line was so boring and much to woke to stomach
