Olivia Greer is counting the days until her date with Michael Bellemare, when her sister, Sage, calls in a panic. As the principal of Lily Rock Music Academy, she meticulously planned the parent orientation weekend.

Then, an academic tutor is found dead.

While Officer Janis Jets investigates the case, Olivia is called in to coach the weekend headliners, the Tone Rangers, and go undercover for the constabulary. With Michael and her lovable labradoodle by her side, Olivia discovers clues that leave her questioning everyone from the faculty to the local law enforcement.

As accusations fly and rumors circle, can the trio expose the truth before the curtain rises? Or will someone see to it that the Tone Rangers final bow will be their last?

I was really excited about this series. Started strong in book one. Gradually the tone changed specifically with the pronouns. Unfortunately because of this, I won’t continue the series nor will I even finish this book. The performance is wonderful as usual.

This is a cozy inclusive mystery set in a small fictional mountain town. It’s enjoyable light hearted entertainment. Realism is not the point. I mean, the town mayor is a dog?

I mean there’s an autoharp, what’s not to love?

It seemed unrealistic that a boarding school for teens would be located in an area with no basic municipal services.

Dear God, this is not even worth it being free. No one cares about what one character says to another about their pronouns. Either use them for every character or just drop it.
Woke is why these books are free

How many times in one book can you ask about pronouns?
