Beautiful

This was a tough one but good. I didn’t think I would get thru it being heavy in to church but the author did a great job on how she handled religion,

Story is one of my absolute favorites, narrators not so much

I have read this book many times on kindle so I was so so excited that an audible version was available. The narration is terrible. The female narrator is so dry, nasal, heavy, flat and robotic, not at all the fun, feisty but sweet personality of Zanetta. I kept waiting for the passion and flair to come but it never did. Also the female narrator pronounced words incorrectly. Was this not edited?
When they both tried to do voices for other characters it was distracting how badly it went. I know the story well and when I was confused about who was talking when.
The male narrator tried but he fell flat for me as well.
I can’t even finish this book. I’ll continue to let my kindle app read it to me instead.

Adding both narrators to the list of ones I’ll avoid.

Blue’s Beauty changed my Christian Journey

Blues Beauty changed my approach as a Christian. You never know what someone is going through. I would just speak to people and keep walking. After reading and listening to this book, I now stop, speak and look and listen to those non-verbal queues. I am a huge fan of grief counseling and surrounding yourself with family and friends. This book is well written and addresses many things, especially, when things happen to good people.

Fourth Time is Fire

I have read the book of this story at least three times, since my first read in 2021, because the series is one of my favorites. When I saw the release of the audio book I had to purchase it. Blue and Zanetta’s love story is one of my all time favorites and the audio copy did not disappoint. The artistry of Bailey West’s pen is amazing she draws you into the story and causes you to not want to put the book down until you are finished.
The narrators were good, I had hoped that the voice of the male had been just a litter deeper☺️,however his voice did grow on me. And his voice did not distract from the story. I’m looking forward to listening to the next two books is this wonderful series.

Good Story!!

I was not impressed by the female narrator. Her voice made the book very difficult to complete. The overall story was great. Other than all of the excessive money being spent it was very relatable. Healthy friendships, loving parents and strong sibling relationships along with a good dose of messiness. I hate that the same narrators were used for the next books in the series but I’ll see. I might suck it up.. I’m very curious about Paxton…
