Sergio Jones was on the verge of elevating his career from actor to director when a scandal broke out, threatening his business and the financing of his film. In desperate need to clean up his image and salvage his career, Sergio considers an opportunity that would change his life forever.

Michaela Robinson was the definition of independent and stubborn. The mere thought of needing help from anyone made her go ten times harder, leaving her burned out, and alone. When Michaela's roommate abruptly ended their lease, she left Michaela with the task of finding a roommate, while juggling graduate school, an internship, and part-time work. At the risk of losing everything, her beloved uncle, Michael, gave her an ultimatum that would change her life.

Sergio and Michaela promised to help each other rebuild their lives. But what happens when their wedding vows mean more than having job security and financial stability? Will Sergio and Michaela learn how to love, honor, and cherish each other?

I love the marriage of convenience trope! The FMC and MMC are both likable characters. The secondary characters are interesting too. Though short, the author doesn’t skimp on character development, which I really appreciated.

The narrators took some getting used to, but the story is well written and engaging enough that it was able to look past them. I highly recommend “The Vow” and I’m excited to start book 2 in the series.

I enjoyed this book. The narration was okay. The male narrator didn't fit the characters age. He sounded much older.

Great Story!

The Vow has a cute, engaging storyline with well-established characters that are easy to follow and connect with. The plot itself is enjoyable and has a lot of potential. However, the narration plays a major role in this audiobook, and unfortunately it falls short. The voice inflections, pauses, and overall fluctuations are distracting at times and take away from the flow of the story. While the story itself is decent, the narration made it harder to fully immerse in the experience.

Cute!

The male narrator voice was to old for this character. I wish that the authors would make them audience properly. Because the narrator can make or break a story. Overall I feel like the storyline is great. I just couldn’t get passed his voice.
