Beautiful Coming of age Story

Saving Sunflower was soooo good, realistic & heartfelt. It's a coming of age story that combines a grumpy/sunshine trope which is one of my favorite tropes.

Our FMC, Claudette"Clo" is a motherless college student, whose optimism and naivety captivates our MMC.

Our MMC, Dominic"Nic" a complicated, street smart/aspiring rapper. Whose childhood trauma has forced him into a life cycle of constant struggle. He's caught between wanting to do right, live honest and hustling to make ends meet for the ppl he loves.

The connection these two develops borders on soulties. At times their connection drives their reckless decisions regarding one another and mentally cripples them from moving on from one another at the same time. Even when moving on is whats best.

I know Autmn was only trying to look out for her friend but at times she was getting on my nerves with the negativity. I loved when she accepted that she has to let her friend live her own life.#besties

I love Diane & Jodiahs support of Clo. Especially Diane & Clo pseudo "mother daughter relationship "

The conversations between Nic & Clo especially the one where he shared how he felt, had me tearing up and cheesing at the same time🤗.

Lord this story was so good eliciting so many emotions within me.❤️ Highly recommend 👌
