It screams second book

The title of my review might hurt sound harsh but the book it self was good but you could tell it was a second installment of a trilogy but saying that the book was good and I look foreword to its conclusion and hope I see a certain scribe come back for his kids🤞🤣🤣

Imaginative and well thought

Great story! It keeps getting better. Absolutely cannot wait for the next installment. Anthony Ryan is at the top of my favorite authors list and I could listen to Steven Brand all day long for a month and still not get tired of his voice. Wonderful partnership of author and narrator.

First the narrator is fantastic, story has a good flow and builds upon the universe started with the covenant of steel.

Absolutely loved it.

Another great installment of the series and I look forward to the next book. Anthony Ryan is a master. Steven Brand as always, superb.

A great middle step

I loved this book and I think Anthony Ryan may be one of my favorite fantasy authors. I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy.
