My older brother is dead. And my trials have already begun.

After saving Hamelin and earning the loyalty of Princess Adriana, I’m called back to Sevona to claim my birthright as crown prince.

But the road home is anything but simple. A hidden dwarf city is under siege. A relentless knight in black armor watches my every move. And a rival noble house schemes to tear our kingdom apart for another’s favor.

With my girls beside me and new allies joining the fight, I’ll need every ounce of strength and cunning to earn my crown.

I was born to rule. Now, I’ll prove it.

Very well written, fast passed, good story, lots of room to keep the series going.

Enjoyed the story

the stupidity of mc and his harem ( and possible harem members) is aggravating. " oh woo is me I since the elf princess I'm in love with will live longer than me, we decided to not be together so we are both miserable" what a stupid take .....ever hear of it is better to have love and lost than never loved at all? Also mc needs to gather evidence of betrayal of some lords, and what is it they do...lets leave the city and spend the day at the creek f* king each other, seems like a smart idea smh. Other wise so many other good things in these books.

could be a great series

The writer made the MC incompetent/dumb in order to push the story along. It's honestly agonizing pushing through his low intelligence but the rest great. The MC literally has a magic truth telling rock that while has a high price will reveal all. but its never mentioned. Also mc needs to get his legion in order but rather bang his harem. And again seriously.... the mc is dumb.

The MC is dumb...

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

He's surrounded by liars and enemies, if only he had a magic rock in his pocket which summoned a demon to tell truth from lies.

oh wait, he does have that! so why does he forget it even exists?? instead he gets thrown in the dungeon cause he's pathetic. seems like author made the MC purposely dumb sometimes just to move the story along.

MC is frustratingly obtuse

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The author is obviously distracted. The story is rushed and the MC makes no sense. The reality of not actually having a story plot. Premise, great. The actual ending drawn out. You can skip 10min. Realize they are still talking in circles. And skip some more.
Spoilers. After this.

Here is an ending for you, grab the sword kill all the stupid political intrigues. Steal their items of whatever and book end. Literally ended the entire story that can make sense. You gimp the character into nonsensical motions.

Just a waste.
