This is the 2nd book in this series and it was even better than the first!
I'm not going to lie, I absolutely judge books by their covers 😅 this one was an instant buy and I'm glad! It was also a nice surprise to learn it has a few darker themes but nothing too crazy.
I did a read/listen to this one and it's done in duet narration which is my FAVORITE 🥹
The voice actors did a phenomenal job
Briar got dealt a crap hand from a young age but she's no wilting flower.
Her sass is top tier and she takes NO crap.
The guys all have darkness in their pasts and their stories are absolutely heartbreaking. But that just makes the HEA all the sweeter 💗

Love my dark romance gentleman

I fell in love with this story the first time I read it a few months ago. It wouldn’t leave my head. It lived rent free 24/7. These three men have more love and respect for this women then she’ll ever EVER know and It had me feeling all the feels. The voice actors? Oh my lord they made it all 100000x more real. More swoon worthy. I adored it so much will be on loop for forever.

Really negative. Enemies / hate to romance across the board

I hate being one of the first to review this. I wish I could give comments without a rating, bc my dislike is not with the book itself but my own personal preferences, but I want to warn people who were expecting a certain thing like I was. It wasn’t like any of her others. I was so disappointed in this.
I loved the first royalverse and her MVP series. This was the opposite of Ivy and her royals. It was not just dark, it’s so… negative. It’s all animosity and, well, hatred. They all hate each other. I don’t like enemies to lovers stories bc it’s all unhappy bickering. Yeah, her RH always have 1 guy that’s awful. But this one all 3 are. There’s no positive relationship to hold on to till the rest sorts out. And one of them takes pleasure in her pain—a “she’s so pretty when she’s crying” thing. That’s an auto-no for me.
I just couldn’t keep listening. There was no reason to. Everyone was miserable and they all hated each other and delighted in causing each other pain. I was miserable listening to it. I don’t know how long bc I dnf, but I imagine it would have had to be a large % of the book bc it would have had to happen gradually and in these books that usually IS the conflict. Once it’s resolved the books over.
Maybe you’re fine with that kind of thing, but I wasn’t. Took all the joy out of it.
