Fae, magic, and a shadow daddy!

This book was amazing! The entire time I was entranced and found it hard to put down. The narrator did a wonderful job. You could feel the emotions the characters had. The world building was wonderful. I don't think I'd want to live in this Fae world as it seems like all war. I can't wait to see where this goes. That cliff hanger had me screaming NO! Oh, the emotions I have...

Has Potential

I received an ARC for my review. I struggled with the narrator I just found her performance wasn’t for me I wish there was a different take on the MMCs voice. Overall I liked the story I think there are some elements that could be refined but I enjoyed it and I’m excited for book 2!

A Good Fantasy Story

I would like to thank Hailey Gonzalez for this audiobook as an ARC. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I enjoyed this story. It was a little difficult to get into at first because the FMC is incredibly naive and came across as whiny but once you accept that that’s her character - and probably due to her age, it’s easier to enjoy the story. I wish the audiobook was dramatized or maybe as a duet. I didn’t care for the narrator doing both male and female roles. For me, it didn’t work as I wanted it to but it was still engaging and done well. Overall, I binge listened to this story. I highly recommend if you love fantasy, romance, adventure, fae and magic.
