Didn’t like the narrator

This would probably be better with a different narrator. She is too slow and breathy for me personally. I wish she was a bit more upbeat and excited. Dnf around 80% done

Love it!

A good slow burn RH with gentle development of characters. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A great story…

This was a great read! Everything you would be looking for in a slow burn why choose. When Claire first meets her triad she has no idea who they will be to her. This first book takes you through her coming into her own while also showing you more about the world they live in and what’s to come. Narration was well done too. I’m always amazed when one narrator handles a whole book. Can’t wait to dig into the next one!

liked the story. narration Is a little slow at 100. I upped it to 110. would be better with dual narration.

Loved it 😍

The characters are very likable especially Claire. The academy reminds me somewhat of Hogwarts. The storyline held my interest with the mystery behind Claire’s background and her powers. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
