At Camp Blaze—a camp with a history of violent tragedy—a group of counselors are stalked and slaughtered by a masked killer. However, due to the missing bodies, the murders are treated as disappearances.

‘Perhaps they’ve ran off to elope,’ the authorities suggest. But, as the disappearances continue to mount, Regina Park—the head counselor—begins to suspect foul play and she fears the killer may be closer than they think...

Jon Athan, the author of Night of the Prowler and Do Not Disturb, invites you to spend a night at Camp Blaze in this brutal throwback to classic ‘80s slashers.

Rewritten and re-edited from the ground up, the 2021 Author’s Enhanced Edition of this book is an uncut extended version of the original story. It is the definitive Camp Blaze experience.

It was direct and too the point but still had enough character development to get you invested. The ending left hoping for a sequel or another story in the same universe.

Fresh take on the camp slasher.

I would definitely recommend this to fans of Friday the 13th. Fun and easy camp slasher.

Loved the story, unfortunately couldn’t stomach the last hour because of the narrators Whitney voice. Absolutely ruined it for me. I tried to endure it for as long as I could. A shame cause I wouldve loved to see how it ended.

Kept me on edge of seat.

Fast, brutal, and exactly as intense as you’d expect. This one doesn’t waste time — it jumps straight into chaos and keeps the tension high all the way through. Definitely not an easy read, but if you’re used to extreme horror, it delivers the raw, relentless energy the genre is known for. 📚🖤

it was ok

I've read and listened to numerous books from Jon Athan. They're page turning excitement and gore. I was not a fan of this story unfortunately. The performance from the narrator was on point. The story line was okay, it gave me Friday the 13th and Sleepaway Camp vibes. This is not the type of story I'm used to from Jon Athan but I'm still going to enjoy his other books.

I dunno
