Current topic, great characters

The story was intriguing and interesting. Character development was fantastic and the overall theme of the book was excellent.

Characters not as nice as before

Rex and Viv have become unpleasant people. Rex is portrayed as a demanding and infantile man who wants “his women” to cater to him like a man out of the 50”s. She has become so strait laced and rigid I don’t recognize her. The story is very interesting and offers a historical insight I’ve never heard before, but all the other characters are cartoon cutouts. Sad that this series has devolved.
