I loved this story. Lots of good life lessons in this one ☝🏻.

First it’s a good story about practical jokes. Some jokes can be fun and funny but not at the expense of humiliation and injury. Also, too many tricks makes you suspicious of everything.

Second, I love that Claudia goes to her grandmother for advice. Mimi had some wise words about not being able to control every situation in life.

Three, discipline your children. It was so easy to get angry at Betsy because she’s a brat but where were the parents? After breaking Claudia’s leg she should have been grounded and those toys confiscated.

And it shouldn’t have taken Kristy to bring her to Claudia’s house for a formal apology. This is just a good example of how some parents are clueless and neglectful.

Comedy goes too far.

Poor Claudia. What could go wrong? A lot!. Amazing performance by Ali. She's great with voice, tone and so on. Plan to try out the other BSC books.
