Pleasantly surprised

To me, the pacing in the beginning was a little slow and the narrator wasn't really doing it for me but after the alien reveal is when the story picks up. Considering this has a 3 star rating I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised and also finding out (after I finished the book) it's based on Brittney Spears's conservataorship you could definitely see it in this book. It's a must read!
