too much recap

The author pretends like you haven't already read the book before this one. She is constantly recapping and telling the story you already know...again.. She also is terrible at writing the male perspective, I wish she would just stay in Ayna's head and not try to get into Myrons.
The author would benefit majorly from mapping out her characters powers and abilities to keep them straight in the story. Myron can't be all powerful, and yet constantly be also failing in battle. Its very frustrating when you want him to kick ass and instead constantly end up in a bind. I am attached to the characters so I'm going to sludge on with the next book, but I already know its going to include a ton of recap from this one, and annoy me.

Too long. Anya was weeping over the mate bond much of the story. They are forever losing a battle. When will they win at least one. Too long I had to fast forward through much of the book. Hope book 4 is better
