Wrong female narrator...

The female narrator is absolutely wrong for this book. It takes away from the story & is more of a distraction than anything. Just goes to show that the narrator's can make or break your book & it broke this one. To the point I'm going to stop listening at book 1 instead of finishing the series, despite the fact they're free.
Male narrator did a great job & this book could've been a totally different listen with the right female lead. Just listening to her annoyed me to no end, almost didn't finish the book bc of the whining tone.

Arranged Marriage

Reading/Listening is an escape and the book wasn’t the worst it just needed more substance and depth. There was groveling, no angst or cheating just them reconnecting before her arranged marriage. There was some growth in the characters. I am glad that it was included with the audible subscription. Male narrator did a good job.

This book was a lot of everything needed for any good mafia romance! But…. That woman is every bit of stupid! She acted like she wasn’t born into a mafia family, it annoyed the crap out of me. She’s gonna be the reason people come for her man. Doesn’t she know a Don can’t show weakness? So stupid, either way It’s definitely a MUST READ 😍🥰📚📖

The best thing about this book is Lance Greenfield!!! But he female lead is sooooooooo bad, it takes her 3 min to say 1 word. Even on fast speed.
The story is week and the female lead is way too childish…. Gotta get a refund😢
