Sweet lil story, horrible narration

A good little story. Not too flowery or complicated but OMG the narrator was horrific. Her cadence when talking was so redundant and blah.

Still Waiting

I can feel the spice build up but I still feel we are at book 1. There is still no trust, still unknowns to the true purpose and still nothing new. I feel we are still waiting on answers to book 1. The competition in book 2 added zero value to this story.

The narrator is terrible

I had to check several times to see if AI was reading these books. There is no inflection in the narration. Monotone… like she is reading an owners manual not a fiction novel.

Narration is difficult

The storyline is very enjoyable. Although the author could have combined several of these books into one. The narration is very difficult, it’s flat and mostly monotone.

Narrator tried, but conversation between characters is painful

The conversation between characters is so forced that it’s just really hard to buy into any relationship development.
