The accents

I know Cade is supposed to be French but I couldn’t get past his voice. Amayas accent for him when she would say his lines also was not doing it for me. But other than that, I loved the story so much and think the author did an amazing job with this retelling of Esmeralda and Frollo.

Great narrators

The narration was great for the audio book. This one was dark & twisted & spicy. Having a priest that deranged was a good story.

Unique and gripping

I love the way Emily McIntire tells a story. It’s always engaging in a way that allows the reader to feel like they are there.
Crossed was a little darker than I like to read but it was still a great story.

This story line isn't erotic, it's disturbing.

Very sacrilegious story line. The same story as her other books, even repetitive lines, just different names. 2/5 overall.

Was a bit dark for me

This is my 5th book by this author and I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as the first 4 books. Didn’t like religion mixed in.
