If you loves the Gallows Hill series you need to read or listen this! Gives you the backstory on how the brotherhood started and how the witches came to be. Again the narrators killed it!

I love anything related to Salem witch trials so this was right up my alley. Good short read and guessing it is needed to understand the remaining books in the series.

Enjoyed

I loved hearing the backstory of Gallow Hills. I want more!!!! Hopefully she will keep this story going or have another spin off.

Loved it!!

I love a bit of backstory and this did not disappoint. The story of Thomas Putnam, Sarah Good, and how the Brethren came to be is absolutely worth the read whether before or after the Gallows Hill trilogy.

This was not what I was expecting, but it was so good. My heart broke for Sarah and all the other women.

This was a perfect prequel that will have you wanting to listen to the Gallows Hill series if you haven't already, (ngl, now I kinda want to listen to it again) with excellent narration.
