This was a lovely story where a young Russian girl from the 1900s is affected by the loss of her family, struggles, and changes of life in revolutionary Russia. Her story is told to two young girls of current times and it inspires them and helps them cope with the hardships and changes they are experiencing. The story also tells interesting aspects of Russian culture which I thoroughly enjoyed. The story is appropriate for all ages.

Russian Love Story

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. So I'm crying at work listening to this. It was so good. I loved this story. The characters were wonderful. The narrator was great too.

Outstanding!!! I loved this book!

I absolutely loved this book!!! I wasn't familiar with the author or narrator prior to listening to this wonderful book, and will now add them to my one-click list. Both are extremely talented. This story was so much more than a historical romance. I loved the details and vivid imagery the author wrote. The narrator did an excellent job with the accents and distinguishable voices. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I thought this was a clean listen and age appropriate for most audiences.

not what I expected

I will admit it's a wanted this book only because it evolved Russians and I miss my phone free and I got not too long fantastic and incredible story this was written very very cleverly I didn't expect what I got but I enjoyed it very much it was a fantastic book to listen to the narrator was great and I enjoyed the book quite much

Good Story

I got this arc via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. I was not a fan of the story at the beginning but as the story developed and t became a story within a story within a story it got so much better. Brilliant. I loved the part where Clara told the so-called cool girls that she would have to see them later because she already had an appointment. That showed character that is lacking in so many adults now a days and for it to come out in a preteen was very good. I especially liked the ending. The book is less than four hours of listening but has many twists and turns, and brings out many issues. The narrator was good and each character played a role that made the story whole. Worth the listen.
