Good story, needs a better narrator IMHO

Good story, although the actual crime the book is about wasn’t actually committed until around chapter 18. And while the narrator wasn’t bad, she wasn’t all that great either; I’ve heard many better. I want to continue this series but I may have to go with the print version and hope I don’t have to wait 18 chapters again to get to the meat of the story. I understand that backstory is important. But 18 chapters? Really?

Exciting story

I thought the stories told in tandem about Eden and Zoe were page-turners! Unfortunately, the narrator had an echo-producing microphone and a very slow, unchanging voice which made it tough to listen.
