💡 What if the chaos in your relationships wasn’t your fault , but the imprint of a survival pattern you were never taught to heal?

If you feel torn between craving love and pushing it away…
If you cycle through emotional highs and lows in your relationships…
If you’ve ever said, “Why do I always sabotage the good ones?”, this book is for you.

In Disorganized Attachment: You Are Not Broken, you'll discover how disorganized attachment forms in childhood and plays out in adulthood — and how to finally break the cycle. Drawing on decades of clinical experience, the author — a licensed psychologist specializing in trauma and attachment — guides you through a practical, compassionate roadmap to healing.

You’ll learn how to recognize your patterns, understand your nervous system’s responses, and take actionable steps to rebuild safety, trust, and emotional regulation from the inside out.

🌱 This book will help you:

✔️ Understand the roots of disorganized (anxious-avoidant) attachment
✔️ Identify emotional triggers, trauma bonds, and push-pull dynamics
✔️ Reconnect with your inner child and soothe unresolved fear
✔️ Heal survival responses like hypervigilance, dissociation, and emotional flooding
✔️ Build secure, stable relationships, starting with yourself

🔍 Inside, you'll also explore:

  • The nervous system’s role in attachment trauma
  • Why you may struggle to trust, even when someone is safe
  • How to reparent yourself with compassion and consistency
  • Tools to regulate your emotions without shutting down or lashing out
  • Daily strategies to move toward secure attachment, even if it feels impossible

If you've searched for:

“disorganized attachment book”
“anxious-avoidant healing”
“inner child trauma recovery”

The book itself is great. It has a lot of helpful information for those of us on a healing journey. I had a lot of a-ha moments, and I'm about to listen to it for a third time, this time while taking notes. I have misgivings about: 1) the author, although an educated professional, being unwilling to use their given name as the author (makes me a little sus), and 2) the robotic "Virtual Voice" narration. The frequent mispronunciations and incorrect vocal inflections really detract from the quality of the book. I wish Audible would not even allow books without a human narrator. AI has its uses...narration shouldn't be one of them.
