Critic reviews

"Like all Craig Halloran books, this is a very character centric book, packed with action, intrigue and lots of twists and turns. Not quite like anything else on the market today." - The Bookwyrm Speaks

maybe bcs it's compilation but some chapters are duplicated. I have bookmarked these. Basically means missing some of the story. I am not sure about the sound effects too.

very d&d like, good value and will need to get the next omnibook

there have been a few missing or duplicate chapters so far. Chapter 41-42 triggered me to write this review.

please inspect, chapter 41 is missing, listening at what is listed as 41 is a duplicate of chapter 40

A few times I have found that a chapter is incorrect, the announcement says chapter 30 for chapter 32 and is indeed a repeat of chapter 30 instead of chapter 32 (in the book “battleground”, but has happened elsewhere).

This series of books feels like it was written by a high schooler writing for middle schoolers. The style is unsophiscated and uses language that is puerile, eg. frequently using "nanoos" for testicles. Any attempt at romantic communication between characters seems like the clumsy probing of a juvenile who has never matured beyond pulling pigtails to declare interest.
The narrator has a decent voice, but should not be attempting different voices. His range of voices is terrible and mostly sound either like one gruff man or an old haggish woman. Also, the narrator often seems to forget what voice he used for a character and will change the voice of a character from one sentence to the next within the same paragraph, perhaps he was taking a break and forgot, anyway not good.
The story is just ok, feeling like a homebrew D&D campaign.

Rudimentary writing with horrible narration.
