love the characters and the mind altering.

the story was good this is the second book I read from the author so I knew what I was getting into. the story isn't complicated or slow. the NSFW scenes were good could have had more detail but that's just me being a perv. my only dislike was the performance didn't have enough "bite" to them. it was like they were reading to me instead of experiencing it. but overall love the story.

amazing!

i love the happy ending, the voices portrayed the chars perfectly. writing is amazing, as messed up as it was the ride was so worth it! ending is amazing!

Amazing narration

Pretty dark and twisted but really loved the ending. While there were times where I thought I should stop, I had to keep going to see how it ended and was so glad I did!

Lauren Biel’s Driving My Obsession is like taking a road trip straight into emotional chaos. Seatbelt optional, trigger warnings mandatory. The writing is chef’s kiss. The vibes are deliciously dark. Ambrose is a walking red flag with a tragic past, and Oaklyn’s trauma makes her choices… questionable at best.

The first two-thirds had me hooked like a thriller junkie. But the last part felt like the characters did a 180 into a parallel universe where logic no longer exists. Strong, independent FMC suddenly turns baby duckling to her abuser? Girl, no.

It’s spicy, messy, and full of drama you can’t look away from, even when you probably should. If you like your romance toxic but well-written, this one’s for you.

Good but….

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. I love the darker romances and this had plenty of dark in it and the spice was 🔥. I wish the FMC was stronger and not so whiny. Loved the male narration. Can never go wrong with Duran. Was not impressed with the female narrator. Didn’t really give the character life.
