pleasant surprise

Gotta say, I was not expecting this to be any good.

I won't go so far as to say that this is some masterpiece, but for what it is (that being the origin for a revenge story with a harem) it was great!

Characters were good, relations between them were believable, and the darker angle of the story was a nice twist without being all broddy/edgy.

And of course, the voice actors were great as well 👍👌

Way better than expected!

Got this older book looking to find something fun and nostalgic based mainly on the title.
Man, was I thrilled when this exceeded my expectations.
Noble fop who was into dueling other noble fops got falsely accused of his brother's murder and was then banished to the underworld.
There he was captured and was made a gladiator slave.
Can't say much more without giving it all away.
Great story, characters, action and spice.
I'm giving this book 8 out of 5 stars.

Well done.

Awesome book, great narration. action packed, fast paced and wonderful story. I can't wait for the next book in series.

Court power grab

this was a really well written story, the performance was interesting and easy to follow. it's about the dark elves politics and power grab. it kept my attention and I enjoyed the story very much.
