Some inconsistencies

Very, very hot but the second time around I picked up on a few rough edges that should have been cleaned up by an editor of no one else. Otherwise, a great story.

I had tears in my eyes as she described the cramping stomach as she starved, and the elicit sex scenes never repeated themselves. When the plot started to thicken, the sex scenes petered out altogether. I like that.

Ava did a good job but I often had difficulty differentiating between the characters' thoughts and dialogue. Otherwise, a very good job.

What made the experience of listening to Eighteen (18) the most enjoyable?

Other than the fact that J.A Huss is very talented and knocked it out of the park, Ava Erickson"s narration was perfect.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I have to go with Mateo, he's just so demanding (I like the alphas) and I like that he pushes Shannon even when she doesn't want to be pushed.

Have you listened to any of Ava Erickson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to several and this one was just as great. One thing that I love about her aside from really drawing you into the story is that her voice is able to switch between male and female seamlessly.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I really wanted to, but real life was calling.

Any additional comments?

I didn't think that J.A Huss could top 321 (my first audio of hers) but boy was I wrong! While 18 is a forbidden story it's also so much more. I was able to connect not only with the characters but the story as a whole. Shannon just wants to skate by on life, too bad for her Mateo has other plans. It's hot and sexy so be sure your headphones are on properly if listening in public!

Another Great one by JA Huss

JA Huss always has a great story to tell. 18 is a book about the troubled life of a girl that was a senior in HS. Trying to graduate and navigate helping to take care of her niece she ends up in a relationship with the teacher tutoring her in Trigonometry.
I love the drama that is usually in JA’s books she knows just how to capture a persons interest to keep them reading. I always look forward to her books. Narrator was also great.

Love this book!!

I had previous read this book and loved it so much that I had to get it as my first Audible book. I really enjoyed the narrator and thought she did an amazing job bringing Shannon and Mateo to life. Loved the kink in this book and will definitely be reading AND listening to it again!
