Love this book!!

I am a huge fan of Kathleen Brooks! I love all of her books. I am so glad that she started this book series. Eric G Dove does an amazing job narrating this story. He helps to bring the book alive.

The best

I have always loved Ryker…wondered about his past. So glad he found his HEA and healing from his best! The very best series ever…and Eric is tge best narrator.

Another excellent book!

I love Kathleen Brook’s writing style.
It was great to finally discover Ryker’s secret.
The fast pace heart stopping action is interwoven with comic relief (allowing my rapid heart rate to slow down). I was truly blindsided with the criminal mastermind.
I don’t care for the sex scenes and skip them.
Otherwise, I absolutely loved this book!

Great as always

Every book is a wonderful story of action and laughs. can't wait for the rest especially Grear and Sébastien story!!

More enjoyable adventure

I loved it as much as the rest of the series. One single grouse, the heroine's eagerness to be taken prisoner by the mob. So out of character of her development in the book, not in line with Brooks gusto and she almost sabotaged the whole Shadows Landing aura. At least she preserved the selflessness attitude. Great mix of adventure and romance.
