Gut Wrenching

Not an easy listen to by any means but well written and well read, not sure I feel good after the conclusion, but certainly left me with feelings.

Note Spoiler Alert!!!

This book was really well written and I do believe some people can be in love with two people at the same time! As hard as that must be, I believe Marni did a superb job making you love all three equally. I am so glad that Lance didn’t have to get his heart broken and that Oliver was understanding and gracious enough to let Chloe go back to her husband to have a family. That is true love!
My hope is that in their next life Chloe and Lance will get their chance for a happily ever after.

My only complaint would be that we didn’t get to hear from Shane East until the very end, but still loved Ava Erickson’s narrating.

Challenging decisions.

What would you do if you were in love with a wonderful husband then reconnected with your first love who also took your virginity?
I definitely struggled with some of the decisions two of the characters made in the course of the book.
Loving someone should mean you want them to be their best self. Not pushing them to live a life lacking in morality or integrity.
The author wants you to love Oliver Chloe and lance. They’re all nice people. Well it appears they actually aren’t. Oliver and Chloe ended up being huge and selfish disappointments.

Throat burning romance

I loved that I was able to feel the emotions the author wanted to show in this story. I was heart broken at the end but her note helped me cope. More people experience this than we think. Well written and definitely a tear jerker.
