They survived the first wave. Now the real hunt begins.

Herman, Ohshiet, and the gang have made it to Uncle Ray's compound . . . a prepper's dream of high fences, stockpiled food, and enough ammo to arm a small country. For the first time since the System hit, they have a roof over their heads and a plan for survival.

But safety has a price.

The Phenomenon isn't finished. A monster surge is heading for town, and it will kill everyone left . . . including Herman's dad. They need to convince the townsfolk to join the compound and fortify its defenses. Easier said than done when you've got a talking iguana and a small town full of "conceal and carry" types.

Meanwhile, Tombo is in his own world of hurt.

The base was nearly overrun, and now all eyes are on the so-called local hero. But Tombo isn't a hero—just a guy with oversized knives and an alien in his head. But when a new type of Phenomenon starts wreaking havoc on the base, it's up to him to stop it.

Seems it's not just Tombo and Herman who are leveling up.
