Sean died under a collapsing warehouse roof. Twenty years as a firefighter, and that was how it ended.

Sean's new body belongs to Mars Mihael, a noble's son with no combat training and a reputation for failure. He could train as a knight. He could study magic. But when he learns what Lamplighters actually do, the choice isn't hard.

They walk into the dark so others don't have to.

He's done that before.

Starting at Level 1 with a body that's never worked a hard day, Sean enters an Academy where half the students wash out and a quarter don't survive. But he's spent two decades learning to stay calm when everything goes wrong.

The job hasn't changed. Just the uniform.

The story was interesting and the narrator did an even better job bringing it to life. I liked it.

Oh, man, Loved it!!

This is the first time I have listened to audio of a Fire Fighter Isekai LitRPG book, and I enjoyed it a lot!

Going from fighting fires to literally being able to dance fire on your finger was something that I was not expecting! I loved the beginning of the book, how he cautiously explored the world around him and began to be exposed to the magic system. I very much enjoyed this book!

Look forward to other things in this world!

A pleasant surprise

In a twist of fate, no one was expecting the author finally figured out how to write a book. I look forward to the series. It was deeply gripping and a genuine unique idea in the LITRPG genre you’re looking for something a little bit disturbing with a few of the same elements you love and enjoy from other books in the genre then you have to give this book a try
